Art Luetke has spent a lot of time swimming- which he lets you know on his “about” page for Faircrest Management.  Unfortunately, while Art was busy swimming, he let his scummy “management” company screw over tenants left and right to make a quick buck. 

It is our understanding that Faircrest was acquired by another slumlord- therefore making Art retired, but not forgotten for his role in making Madison a worse place to live.  Art, maybe you should have spent less time on the felt with Hellmuth and more time taking care of your tenants, you fish.  How much of your tenants money have you bled away at the tables over the years?  Probably a lot, you loose ass calling station (which is probably how you play since it’s not your money).

• One previous tenant describes the following: Faircrest Management offered an early signing bonus of 50% off the first month rent. Two weeks after move-in, the tenant found an eviction notice on their door for not paying rent in full. The tenant reached out and Faircrest responded by telling them to pay the full rent or they would be evicted. The tenant effectively had to threaten to get a lawyer involved for them to honor the signing bonus.
  
• That tenant also said that on one of the coldest days of the year, their furnace went out. They called Faircrest maintenance and were told to “turn on the oven for heat”. The tenant had a gas oven and if they had followed these instructions they could have been poisoned by carbon monoxide. The maintenance man frantically called back 15 minutes later telling them not to use the oven unless it was electric. An entire hour later, the maintenance man came to the rescue with a crappy space heater coated in paint and dust. When turned on, this heater smelt like burning plastic, so they did not use it. Maintenance promised to return and fix the furnace, but they did not, and the tenant ended up having to repair the furnace.
