Eau Claire is a medium size city in Northwestern Wisconsin.  The cost of renting has been affordable up until recent years, as the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce fight to see who can gentrify the city faster to appease the main driver of Eau Claire’s economy: Bon Iver.
